This ride to Mabie Forest makes for a grand day out. It’s not for the faint hearted though as it is just over 40 Miles and has over 1000m of ascent. You can see from the map it’s mostly forest track which in a couple of places is a single fun path.

Another ride from the doorstep that takes in a bit of everything that makes up this area of South West Scotland. Downhill to Sandyhills via some local farm tracks then along one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. With views across to the Lake District and more natural features to explore than can be described here.

A lovely warm up to the region. This ride takes in mainly tarmac roads but has an optional more challenging off-road gravel loop around Wildcat Wood.

Spring really has sprung at Whitecroft Farm! 15th April the first Swallows arrived – so lovely to welcome them back to their Summer home … started with 3 or 4 and by the end of the month so many we can’t count!
